Oyo State Governor and Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) presidential candidate Seyi Makinde has met with party candidates in the Northeast ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Makinde disclosed this in a statement on social media on Saturday, October 10, while announcing his presence in Yola, Adamawa State, for the party’s Northeast town hall meeting.
He said the meeting was part of the party’s preparations for the forthcoming general election.
The town hall meeting is part of the campaign’s efforts to promote Makinde’s RESET NIGERIA Agenda, which the party says is designed to achieve national renewal through improved security, political stability, peace, increased productivity, and economic prosperity.
“We are presently in Yola for the Northeast Town Hall Meeting of our party, the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM),” the governor stated.
Makinde added that he met with APM candidates contesting various elective offices across the North-East zone on Friday night to discuss the 2027 elections.
“Last night, we met with APM candidates for various elective offices in the North East Zone to discuss the forthcoming general election in 2027,” he said.
