President Bola Tinubu has urged the senator representing Oyo North, AbdulFatai Buhari, to return to Oyo State and mobilize support for his own re-election, Senator Sharafadeen Alli’s governorship bid, and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Three-term senator representing Oyo North, on Friday night met President Bola Tinubu.
President Tinubu emphasized the need for party unity and told Senator Buhari to work collaboratively with state leaders to ensure victory for the party.
At the meeting attended by the executive chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Dr. Zacch Adedeji, the Ogbomoso-born former House of Representatives member, was asked to go back home and work for the success of the APC candidates ahead of the forthcoming elections.
