The Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, His Royal Majesty, Oba Francis Olusola Alao, has extended warm felicitations to Christians in Orile-Igbon and across the Ogbomoso Zone of Oyo State on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.
In his Easter message, the monarch described the season as a solemn reminder of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, whose death and resurrection brought redemption and reconciliation between God and humanity. He urged the faithful to reflect on the core values of love, sacrifice, humility, and compassion, which the season represents.
Oba Alao called on residents of Ogbomoso land to embrace unity and peaceful coexistence, while encouraging them to extend love to one another in line with the teachings of Christ.
The royal father also appealed to citizens to support ongoing government efforts aimed at securing and developing communities. He noted that the Oyo State Government’s SAFER Agenda, as well as the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, require the collective backing of the people to achieve meaningful progress.
He further offered prayers for wisdom for leaders at all levels, peace across the nation, and a brighter future for Nigeria.
