A prominent Nigerian entrepreneur, grassroots politician, and philanthropist, Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithful, particularly those in the Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency of Oyo State and across Nigeria, on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a goodwill message signed and released on his behalf by Hon. Sulaimon Alade to commemorate the Islamic festival, the Chairman/CEO of Dino Group congratulated Muslims for witnessing another Eid-el-Kabir celebration — a season that symbolizes sacrifice, obedience, love, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.
Otunba Ajanaku described Eid-el-Kabir as a significant occasion that reminds humanity of the virtues of faith, patience, compassion, and selflessness, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim. He urged Muslim faithful to imbibe these virtues in their daily lives and use the period to strengthen the bonds of love, peace, and unity within their families and communities.
The APC House of Representatives candidate for the Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency also called on Nigerians to use the festive season to pray fervently for peace, security, and economic progress in the country. According to him, Nigeria requires collective prayers, support, and patriotism from citizens to overcome its current challenges and achieve sustainable development.
Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku further emphasized the importance of religious tolerance and harmonious coexistence among people of different faiths, noting that unity remains a vital ingredient for societal growth and national development.
He also encouraged the Muslim faithful to celebrate in moderation, extend acts of kindness to the less privileged, and reflect on the true essence of Eid-el-Kabir by promoting love, generosity, and peaceful coexistence.
The politician prayed that the blessings of the season would bring joy, prosperity, and renewed hope to every home in Idiko-Ile, Iwajowa Local Government Area, and beyond.
“Eid-el-Kabir is a sacred celebration that teaches sacrifice and devotion. I urge all Muslim faithful to continue upholding values that promote peace, unity, and progress in our society. May Almighty Allah accept our sacrifices and bless our land with enduring peace and prosperity,” he said.
