A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and frontline 2027 gubernatorial aspirant, Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, Esq., has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s 66th Independence anniversary.

‎Agbaje, in a goodwill message, described the anniversary as an opportunity to reflect on Nigeria’s journey as a nation and reaffirm commitment to the country’s unity, development and prosperity. He also expressed support for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, saying the administration’s reforms were aimed at addressing longstanding structural challenges in the economy.

‎According to him, Nigeria is gradually moving towards a stronger and more prosperous future despite the economic difficulties currently being experienced by citizens. He acknowledged that the reforms had brought significant short-term pressures on households and businesses, but said there were signs of improving macroeconomic stability.

‎“The challenges Nigerians have faced in the course of these reforms cannot be ignored, and we must continue to acknowledge the sacrifices being made by our people. At the same time, there are signs of greater stability in some key areas of the economy, and we must remain focused on ensuring that this stability translates into improved living conditions for Nigerians.”

‎Agbaje urged Nigerians to remain committed to the task of nation-building, stressing the need for policies that would ultimately improve the welfare of citizens. He also congratulated President Tinubu on the anniversary and prayed for continued wisdom and strength for the President and progress for Nigeria.

‎“On this 66th Independence anniversary, I congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and all Nigerians. May our dear country continue to move forward in unity and peace. I pray that the efforts being made today will translate into greater opportunities, improved livelihoods and a more prosperous Nigeria for all.”
