All is set for President Muhammadu Buhari to make a New Year broadcast to the nation Friday, January 1, 2021 at 7 am.
An announcement from Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity) in Abuja on Thursday, enjoined Television, radio and other electronic media outlets to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively, for the broadcast.
Observers are optimistic that the president will use the opportunity to address various pressing national issues including insecurity.
