A United States of America based don, Professor Sola Owonibi is set to deliver the first Alumni Lecture of the Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo State.
The lecture titled ‘Bridging the town and gown: Alumni Association and the University system in an unpredictable world’ is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 25 at the Erelu campus of the institution.
According to the organizers, the first annual lecture will attract notable Alumni, friends, well wishers and notable corporate institutions around the country while revealing that it will help to boost the image of institution.
Kola Amole, the President, Emmanuel Alayande University of Education’s alumni association informed PMParrot that “The event seeks to foster unity between the foremost institution of teachers education which has produced notable professionals doing well across the globe and the old students in a way to encourage them to contribute more to the development of the institution and Oyo State in general”
Emmanuel Alayande College of Education was recently upgraded to a University by the Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde-led government in Oyo State as the third state owned university in the state.
