Mr. Ahmed Lawan Kuru, Managing Director/Chief Executive of Asset Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) is the distinguished guest speaker at the March 2017 edition of IoD Nigeria New Members Induction and he will be speaking on Imperatives of Good Governance (in Corporate Nigeria).
According to the institute’s Associate Director, Operations, Mr. Segun Dipe, no fewer than 90 new members will be inducted during the occasion, which would be the institute’s first New Members’ Induction Ceremony for the year 2017. The theme, he said, was geared towards keeping the focus of the Inductees on the essentials of Corporate Governance in their day to day dealings and in their different sectors of business interest.
The event will hold at the Lantana Hall of Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Thursday 23rd March by 5.30 p.m.
“The objective of the event is to welcome new members into the fold by giving them an orientation of the Institute of Directors Nigeria and present them their membership certificates. There would also be substantial networking,” Dipe hinted.
