....Solomon Dalung...the Minister of Sports...

Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung has announced that there is no iota of truth in the claims that he is ready to open a probe on monies expended by the Nigeria Football Federation on last month’s International friendly.

It was alleged that Dalung was determined to probe the over $500,000 NFF reportedly spent on the two friendly against Senegal and Burkina Faso in London, but Dalung denied any probe into how funds were spent but blamed mischief makers over the reports.

Though Eagles played against Senegal, the NFF had to pull the plug on the latter after visa issues stopped the Burkina Faso team from travelling to London for the match.

Speaking on the preparation of the team ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon, the Minister charged the FA to ensure Nigeria secured a world cup ticket and also pledged to support the team.
