Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan under 15 crashed out from the maiden Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Clubs Youth tournament.
3SC U-15 needed a draw to advance to the final of the competition but were eliminated following a lone goal defeat they suffered in the hands of Katsina United.
The victory enabled Katsina United to qualify for final at the expense of 3SC.
Katsina United’s opponents at the final, ABS went through to the final of the competition after beating Rivers United with goals scored by Olakunle Olusegun and Olasoju Jamiu
The win allowed ABS to top their group with 7 points from 3 games.
Meanwhile, Niger Tornadoes bounced back to winning ways after defeating Ifeanyi Ubah 1-0 courtesy of a goal by Mohammed Umar.
It was a disappointing game for The Junior Anambra Warriors, who were unable to build on their Wednesday’s 1-0 victory over Shooting Stars.
