Development Communications (DEVCOMS) Network recently packaged a training programme for selected journalists on human angle stories on family planning at the Development Support Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan.
The training two-day programme saw the journalists being lectured on different modern methods of family planning.
Accessibility and availability of family planning in Nigeria as presented by Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health Initiative (NURHI) were also extensively discussed.
In addition, the importance of the use of the media to drive change in maternal health in Nigeria was generally treated too during the training programme which held from May 3 to May 4, 2017.
