NPFL Club Owners Storm Abuja Ahead of League Resumption

Members of the Nigeria Professional Football League Club owners Association are set to arrive Abuja Sunday ahead of their usual midnight marathon meeting in preparation for the resumption of the second round of the season expected to commence on the 21st of May 2017.

A source close to the top hierarchy of the club administrators’ forum hinted that every arrangement had been concluded for the meeting slated for 10 p.m at TopRank hotel, Utako Abuja.

It revealed further that top on the agenda of the meeting would be a review of the first round of the season and the state of the top flight domestic league.

The Club owners meeting will serve as prelude to a joint consultative meeting of the LMC and the

Club owners expected to hold on Monday 15th May at the corporate office of the LMC at Maitama, Abuja by 10am.

When contacted, the executive secretary of the Club owners Association, Alloy Chukwuemeka confirmed that there were plans to hold a meeting soon before resumption of the second stanza of the season.

All the 20 premier league clubs and Directors of the League management Company LMC are expected at the all important meeting.
