The management of Oyo State’s darling team, Shooting Stars Sports Club has been advised to do something drastic before the team ends up in the relegation waters in the current Nigeria Professional Football League.
Foremost 3SC supporter and lawyer to late Super Eagles goal king Rashidi Yekini, Jubril Mohammed said with what 3SC played against visiting Ifeanyi Ubah FC, in the opening game of the second stanza of NPFL, the players and management must buckle up to avoid relegation at the end of the season.

3SC fans were shell–shocked after referee Umar Mohammed’s final whistle, as 10–man FC Ifeanyi Ubah achieved the unimaginable of a 3-0 whiplash of the Oluyole Warriors right at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan with goals from Godwin Obaje, Seka Pascal and skipper Osanga King.
“What we witness today is a total disaster and disappointment to the fans of the club.
“The management must make it a point of priority to take a drastic decision to rectify the problem facing the team so as to avoid the drop at the end of the season,” Mohammed said.
Speaking further, Mohammed who always provided gifts items to 3SC best player during their home game, said the lingering problem of the team is not only for the management to tackle but the entire well meaning people of the State because the team is the pride of Yoruba race.
“From the team’s performance today, we can all see that there is a problem somewhere with the way the players played.
“The players showed low quality compared to the visitors and this is a problem bothering on finances and this can not only be tackled by the government but by all well meaning people of the state.
“By only this can the team regain its lost glory in Nigerian and continental football,” he added.
