The technical crew of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has promised to improve on its performance in the club’s subsequent matches.
This decision was part of the main thrust of their emergency meeting with the management of the club on Tuesday at the main office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Secretariat, Ibadan.
The meeting was called to appraise the team’s 0-3 home loss to visiting FC Ifeanyi Ubah last Sunday in Ibadan.
However, in the over two hours meeting which had in attendance, the Hon Commissioner, Abayomi Oke, Executive Chairman, Gbolagade Busari and the General Manager, Rashidi Balogun, with Coach Fatai Amoo and his colleagues, Edith Agoye and Lati Yussuf, accepting the blame for the loss.
They disclosed that they have re-assessed the match and discovered the lapses in the team with a view to working on the grey areas for better outings in subsequent matches.
Also, the coaches appealed to the disappointed home fans and supporters with an assurance that the team will strive hard to maintain perfect records during its home and away matches.
