3SC, Sunshine South/West Derby:  Busari Assures Ibadan Fans Of Total Victory

The Oluyole Warriors have lost their last three matches in the NPFL, but the Chairman of the traditional side, Gbolagade Busari has assured on total victory against fellow South/West team Sunshine Stars in matchday 21 of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) slated for Sunday at Lekan Salami Sports Complex Ibadan.

Shooting Stars boss, said the management has done its best to motivate the boys hence they cannot afford any more slip and they will surely get back to winning ways.

The Ibadan outfit has been struggling since the commencement of the second stanza of the league, failing to pick a point after two matches, the development that had stirred controversies among the followers of the side as some are calling for the head of the general manager of the team, Rashidi Balogun while some section are placing the fault at the doorstep of Coach Fatai Amao.

The chairman of the club has, however absolved anyone of the blame saying “It’s a performance we never envisaged, it’s so disappointing. I can’t single out anyone for the losses because it is collective effort.

“I believe the situation is still redeemable. It’s not too late for us. We still have 17 more matches to go so we shouldn’t write ourselves off just because of this poor run, what I think we must do is to buckle up and we have done that”, the former Special assistant to the governor on information noted.

Meanwhile, the backers of the team which includes Ibadan City Polytechnics, the caretaker Chairman of Ibadan South/West Local Government Hon. Gbenga Opaleye that used to provides free entry tickets for fans to watch matches have not relented or held back their hands of fellowship towards the team.

Speaking with newsmen, the proprietor of Ibadan City Polytechnics, Mr. Amos Ajanaku who has been supporting the team by providing gifts items for the man-of-the-match at every home match of 3SC this season has pledged to provide 100 entry tickets for the Sunday match while the South/West council boss, Opaleye has also promised the fans 200 free entry tickets.
