Super Eagles star, Kenneth Omeruo may continue playing in the Turkish Super Lig in the forthcoming season as newly promoted side, Göztepe S.K have open talks with the skillful defender.
It is one hundred percent confirmed that newly promoted top-flight club have directly approached the Chelsea defender over a transfer to the club before the close of the transfer window but Chelsea have reportedly put a £7million price-tag on the Nigeria international which could prove too costly for many sides.
While talks on a deal are progressing, Omeruo is spoil for choice as Sivasspor and Yeni Malatyaspor are also interested in his services.
The 23-year-old has been excellent in his last two seasons in Turkey, racking up over 50 appearances in the league and helping Aytemiz Alanyaspor and Kasimpasa to avoid relegation.
He is not part of manager Antonio Conte and Michael Emenalo’s plans next season, and it is all but confirmed that another loan move or a permanent transfer is on the cards.
Since joining Chelsea from Sunshine Stars in 2012, Omeruo has played only once for Chelsea at all levels, and that was against West Ham U23s in Premier League 2 four years ago when he partnered Nathan Ake in central defense.
