Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party South West Zone, Olorogun Eddy Olafeso has sent a congratulatory message to all the members of party on the judgment delivered by the Apex court, affirming Senator Ahmed Makarfi as the authentic Chairman.
In a press release signed by the South West zonal secretary of the party, Reverend Bunmi Jenyo, Olorogun Olafeso noted that members ordeal in the last two years has been traumatic, but also educative, and he, however, appreciated the sacrifice made by members during the trying period of the party.
“The victory recorded at this time is for all party members and Nigerians at large, who have been at the receiving end of democratic dictatorship of APC in the last two years.
“We are responsible to all our constituencies and we will make sure, this victory gets down to the grassroots for all to enjoy without prejudice or discrimination of any sort,” the press release read in part.
The Zonal Chairman also lauded the Supreme Court for being transparent and upholding the high tenet of Justice in the country and the security agencies for ensuring that there was no breakdown of law and order during the period.
Olorogun Olafeso, however, promised all members a strong, better and reliable PDP that would be responsible to all Nigerians at all levels of governance.
