Former Super Eagles captain, Austin Okocha has advised Nigeria International, Kelechi Iheanacho to leave Manchester City during the summer transfer window.

Iheanacho is now City’s third choice striker, behind South Americans, Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero, despite having the best goals-per-minute record in the history of the Premier League.

”I think he has come at that age that he needs regular first-team games and I think it would be a better decision for him to go somewhere else where he can play week in week out,” Okocha the former Bolton Wanderers midfielder  told ESPN FC.

”So I think that’s a great decision for him to move out of Manchester City this season.”

The 20-year-old Super Eagles striker has been linked with Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Monaco in recent days, but the Foxes are in pole position to secure his services.
