All arrangements are being concluded to give a befitting burial to popular Yoruba actor, author and broadcaster, late Chief Adebayo Faleti who died on Sunday, 23rd July 2017 at the age of 95 in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
According to the family he left behind, his final trip will commence on Tuesday, September 5th 2017.
A statement signed by Barrister Ayoola Faleti for and on behalf of the entire Faleti family over the weekend by Mr. Adeniyi Faleti disclosed that the final burial arrangements will commence on 5th September with a night of tributes and performances at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan by 4.pm.
The statement added that the final burial arrangement will take place on Friday 8th Sept., 2017 at Isokun Baptist Church Oyo followed by interment at Agboye Village, Oyo via Ogbomoso.
It added that guests will be entertained at Labamba Hotel, Oyo same day.
The statement reads, “This is to announce the funeral arrangements for our late patriarch, Alagba Prince Dr. Adebayo Mosobalaje Ajibade Akande Faleti”.

“Interment follows therefafter at Agboye Village, Oyo via Ogbomoso.
“Entertainment of guests will take place thereafter at Labamba Hotel Hotel, Oyo.
It was also gathered that the Government of Oyo State under Senator Abiola Ajimobi has instituted a committee to also ensure that there are roles for the government to be played during the burial carnival.
As at the time of uploading this, details of Ajimobi’s plan could not be confirmed.
