The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Right Honourable (Pastor) Kola Oluwawole, has congratulated the state’s Deputy Governor, Dr Kolapo Olusola, over his conferment with the position of Professor of Building Technology by the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Oluwawole, in a statement by his Special Assistant (Media), Stephen Gbadamosi, described the honour as well deserved, thanking God for making the academic reach the zenith of his professional calling.
He described Dr Kolapo as a purposeful, hard-working person who has shown all his allies that he was dependable at all times.
According to the statement, Oluwawole said; “As the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, I, on behalf of my family, the entire members of the House of Assembly and its staff, feel happy to congratulate you over this well-deserved honour done to our amiable deputy governor by the Obafemi Awolowo University.
“I, particularly, hail your sense of purpose. You are a man of many parts and you have proven that you are dependable on all fronts and at all times. You are a diligent man, and so, this professorship did not come as a surprise. Those of us that are your associates have always been proud of your academic prowess.
“The development is an attestation to the quality of thinking you have brought to bear on the educational sector of our dear state. I, therefore, pray to God to continue to propel you further in all your endeavours. Particularly, all the members of the House are happy for you over this new giant stride. May your star continue to shine sir.” Oluwawole urged the deputy governor to continue to rededicate himself to the service of the Ekiti electorate.
