At long last, the two Ministers sworn in on July 26, 2017 have been assigned their portfolios by the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN.

Stephen Ocheni (Kogi) is now the Minister of State for Labour while Suleiman Hassan (Gombe) is now the Minister of State for Power, Works and Housing.

While Ocheni replaced the late Minister of State for Labour, James Ocholi, who died in a ghastly auto-crash along Kaduna-Abuja highway in 2016, Hassan replaced Amina Mohammed, who resigned as Minister of Environment to take up the job of Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations.

On the same Wednesday, Osinbajo also sworn in the new permanent secretaries before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
