All arrangements have been concluded for the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Ahmed Makarfi and members of his National Caretaker Committee to meet with Ibadan political strongman and founder of Accord Party, Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja on Thursday.
Engineer Akeem Olatunji, the spokesman of Accord in Oyo State who made this announcement on his Facebook page did not disclose the agenda of the meeting.
However, a source close to the former governor of the state informed PMParrot that the visit is in connection with the move by Makarfi and his team to bring back core PDP elements that had over the years distanced themselves from the party.
Said our source “though the meeting may not produce a solid result as expected, Senator Ladoja will still listen and make up his mind sometime later. He has sent delegates to PDP convention and other events, he is ready to listen and do the needful for the sake of the suffering masses in Oyo State specifically.”
The scheduled meeting will hold at Senator Ladoja’s residence and it starts by 11 a.m.
