Senegal, Tunisia, Egypt, Congo DR and Morocco are the top five teams in Africa in that order.
Nigeria rivals to book a ticket to the next African Nations Cup – Libya, South Africa, and Seychelles – are placed 77th, 81st and 189th in the global ranking.
In the global ranking, 2014 World Cup champions Germany lead the way followed by Brazil, Portugal, Argentina and Belgium.
The year end ranking will be published by the official website of FIFA, fifa.com, on 21 December 2017.
