The lingering fuel scarcity and increase in transportation cost could not stop the ambitious youths who gathered to enjoy the full benefits of the 2017 Leadership Seminar.
The Palms 77 Hotel venue of the seminar was capacity filled with youths interested in acquiring more knowledge on Boxing Day.
Speaking to the youth on business and career building at the 2017 leadership seminar, Engr. Femi Babalola popularly known as “Femi Jogor ‘ an accomplished Civil Engineer and Chairman Pentagon Engineering, opened the minds of many ambitious youth to various business ideas.
Engr. Babalola, who doubles as the Chairman, Jogor Centre, one of the leading event centres in the city of Ibadan also spoke on how he became an employer of labour at the age of 27.
The second speaker at the seminar, Barrister Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli spoke to the youth on politics. The former Secretary to the Oyo-State Government encouraged young people to be more proactive. He also advised those who are interested in politics to find a means of becoming a card carrying member of any political party.
The convener of the annual leadership seminar, Engineer Abiodun Babalola appreciated the speakers for taking their time to impact the lives of Nigerian youths.
Abiodun Babalola, a Biomedical Engineer thanked the participants for taking their time to participate in the 2017 edition despite the fuel scarcity. He also promised that the 2018 edition of the seminar will be more interactive.
