The death of Mrs Yinka, the wife of two-times commissioner in Oyo State, Dr Gbola Adetunji has been announced and prominent Nigerians, including Barrister Adebayo Shittu, Communication Minister and others have been commiserating with the world-acclaimed orthopedic surgeon.
PMParrot exclusively gathered that the lady, who died on December 30 after a brief illness at the University College Hospital (UCH) was aged 66.
In addition to Barrister Shittu, other prominent Nigerians who have been to the Jericho GRA, Ibadan home of the Adetunjis include Dr Yinka Griffin of Teju Hospital, Barrister Iyiola Oladokun, a former Deputy Governor of Oyo State and others.
PMParrot gathered that the burial programme has been tentatively scheduled for between January 18 and 19, 2018.
In a chat, the husband of the deceased and proprietor of Odulakin Specialist Hospital informed that the demise of his wife came to him as a shock.
“Well, I cannot do anything about what happened. I thank all those who commiserated with me. I bless the name of God too. We are going to miss her but God knows the best”, he concluded.
Late Mrs Yinka Adetunji, who was a trained nurse was the proprietress of Yinktus Petrol Station at Orita Challenge in Ibadan.
She is survived by her children and politician husband, Dr Gbola Adetunji.
