Super Eagles striker, Ahmed Musa is on the verge of dumping his English Premier League side, Leicester City for his former club, CSKA Moscow before the transfer window closes for business.
According to Tony Harris, who is representing the interests of the former Kano Pillars striker, he said there is high hope that his client will be loaned out to Moscow club anytime from now.
”Negotiations with Leicester continue and go in a positive light. Most likely, Ahmed will go on loan to CSKA in this transfer window. The chances for this are very high,” Harris told championat.com.
With the World Cup approaching, Musa wants to join a club where he’s guaranteed first-team match experience, which he’s presently not getting at the Foxes, with Jamie Vardy, Okazaki, Slimani and Iheanacho ahead of him in the pecking order of strikers.
The skillful striker is keeping up his match fitness by playing some games for Leicester City’s U23 squad.
He has a contract with Leicester City until June 30, 2020.
