The team manager for Shooting Stars Football Club, 3SC, Dimeji Lawal popularly known as Kabongo, has charged all players of the club to be more focused ahead of the 2017/2018 Nigeria National League slated to commence next month.
The Ex-international gave out these words of advice to the player at the end of their training season at the team’s training ground at Lekan Salami Stadium Adamasingba on Friday.
The Ibadan based ex-international said he is optimistic that the Oluyole Warriors will bounce back to the Nigeria football premier league by next season if the player are more determined and stay focus.
Dimeji Lawal while speaking with PMParrot also spoke about his team’s player, Sunday Faleye who is currently on national assignment.
He said the home based Super Eagle striker, Sunday Faleye still remains an integral part of 3SC of Ibadan because he is still on contract with the Oluyole Warriors.
He warned those who wish to make quick money through the footballer not to distract the young and promising soccer star, he maintained that Sunday Faleye has brighter future at both club and national levels.
Kabongo described the striker as a dedicated and good player both on and off the pitch, he then went ahead to advise him not to let stardom distract him from his focus.
Said Dimeji Lawal “I wish the home based Eagle best of luck ahead of their Sunday final game against their northern Africa counterpart and host nation (Morocco).”
