The 2018 Bet9ja Nigeria National League season’s heralding workshop on the Transfer Matching System and Domestic Transfer Matching System for Club managers is set to hold in Abuja.
The TMS/DTMS programme is in keeping with the dictates by the Nigeria Football Federation, following standing instruction by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA), that all professional player in the country be registered and transferred through the TMS /DTMS Platform, with the NFF being the institution of record in line with best international practice.
The managers of the thirty six teams recently approved at the last Bet9ja NNL Congress in Lagos are expected to participate at the workshop.
NNL boss, Sir Chidi Ofor Okenwa said “It has become imperative for the Most Important League to comply with the FIFA directive through the NFF to ensure that proper records/data of every professional player in Nigeria are captured and kept”
“The workshop will no doubt help to build the capacity of managers of clubs TMS /DTMS, all participants will be better educated in players registration and movement process in compliance with FIFA directives and policy statements”
A fair knowledge of computer by the trainees and participants will assist them in understanding of the TMS /DTMS, and as such should be armed with their laptops.
The workshop is holding at the Nera Hotels Jabi, by Jabi Lake, Abuja at 9 o’clock in the morning on Wednesday 7th, with Tuesday 6th of February, 2018 fixed as arrival date.
