The doors of Vivid Imagination, one of Nigeria’s oldest and most popular fashion brands which lost millions of Naira in an early morning fire incident last week are now opened for business.
Located in Falemi House, Obanikoro, Lagos, the fashion outfit which has been in business for over thirty years said it decided to reopen immediately because of the barrage of enquiries from its clients.
According to the MD/CEO, Mr. Godwin Mekwuye, ‘Though the loss was monumental, we still have to reopen to serve our customers, many of who had been worried that this setback could have adversely affected our operations and made us close shop’.
He also thanked everyone for the outpouring of love shown after the incident: ‘I wish to thank everyone who visited, called or prayed for us after the unfortunate incident; the expression of empathy was really overwhelming. I got calls and texts from people I did not even know. It was an indication that we are touching a lot of lives and thus, we cannot disappoint them by closing shop for long. Those who reached out actually strengthened us and God will bless them all’.
Mr. Mekwuye stated that he was confident that from the ashes of the fire will arise a bigger and better Vivid Imagination. ‘We are optimistic that the future ahead will be brighter than the past’, he philosophized.
