Nigeria stay rooted 7th best team in Africa and 52nd in the world based on the latest Federation of International Football Association Ranking announced on Thursday.
The Rankings were released Thursday morning by the World football governing body but a period of inactivity – globally between February and early March meant the team had no figures in the intermediate to be assessed by.
Compared to their position the previous month, the Super Eagles are static meaning they retained their global position of 52, while they are seventh in the continental ranking.
Later this month the Super Eagles will play two high profile friendlies against Poland and Serbia on 24th and 27th in Wroclaw and London.
In the latest rankings, Poland have climbed to 6th in the world while Serbia are 34th globally.
Meanwhile, the top 10 in Africa does not change with Tunisia, Senegal and DR Congo in the top three while world champions, Germany remain the top-ranked football team.
The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on 12 April 2018.
