The Commissioner in charge of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism in Oyo State, Mr Toye Arulogun has commended the management of the popular UfitFly Tourism project charging the company to remain focused.
Arulogun, who gave this charge while speaking with PMParrot said he I personally impressed with the Ufitfly project because of the vibrancy and dynamism of the various campaigns embarked upon by the firm led by the youthful Ajibola Ogunkeyede, the man behind Absolute Travels Limited, the mother company that runs the UfitFly project.
The commissioner said the Oyo State government under Senator Abiola Ajimobi is always proud to be associated with tourism stakeholders in the state with innovative ideas that project Oyo State and complements its efforts as a prime tourism destination in Nigeria.
Said Arulogun: “the essence of the vast infrastructural development, maintenance of peace and security in Oyo State is to attract various kinds of tourists who will then sell the state to the world and ultimately, attract investors. People must first visit, experience then confirm that there is an enabling and conducive environment for investment before taking positive investment decisions.
“Today, nobody can controvert the fact that Oyo State is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria. We are also a friendly and warm people ready to accommodate visitors, tourists and investors.
“This is why we are proud that UfitFly is with us in Oyo State and they are projecting and promoting us well. I commend the management and I am hopeful that more young men and women entrepreneurs will emulate the creativity and dynamism of UfitFly. “With improvement in the ease of doing business, the private and public sector can jointly develop the tourism potentials of Oyo State and make it the destination of choice in Nigeria. It is doable and Oyo Government will continue to support private initiatives in all sectors of the economy”.
