The victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has, at last, been officially and legally challenged by the Peoples Democratic Party.
It was gathered on Friday that the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the July 14 governorship election, Prof. Kolapo Olusola, has paid a visit to the election petition tribunal in Ado Ekiti to file his petition.
Olusola, who is the protégée of the incumbent governor of Ekiti State, Dr Ayodele Fayose is challenging the electoral victory of APC’s Dr. Kayode Fayemi, as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
PMParrot’s source in Ado Ekiti informed that the APC is also putting its own papers together to defend its victory.
