Super Eagles striker, Alex Iwobi has committed his future to English Premier League side, Arsenal by signing a new long-term deal.
The 22-year-old has been at the club since he was a schoolboy and has progressed to the first team.
The player was linked with a move to Lazio few weeks ago, but he has put an end to speculation over his future by signing the deal.
“It’s always been my childhood dream to represent Arsenal, from young,” he told the club’s official website after penning the deal.
“To get an extended contract is an amazing feeling.”
Arsenal boss, Unai Emery also expressed delight at seeing Iwobi commit his future to the Gunners.
“I’m very pleased Alex has signed a new contract with us. He is a great example of a player who can succeed from the Academy through hard work and I look forward to working with him and our other talented young players in the squad,” Emery stated.
