The city of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital will be agog on the 20th of October when the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji will be conferring chieftaincy titles on some successful businessmen.
Leading the pack of the beneficiaries are Engr. Dotun Sanusi, a successful business man who is also the owner of Ilaji Stadium and Resorts Center, a multi-billion naira sporting and hospitality outfit situated in Akanran.
The Chairman of Globacom, the telecommunication giant, Otunba Mike Adenuga, is another beneficiary who will be installed as Apesin Ola of Ibadanlan by the foremost traditional ruler.
In a letter dated 25th of September and signed by Mr. Adeola Oloko, the Personal Assistant/Media and Publicity to the Olubadan and sent to Engr. Dotun Sanusi, a copy of which has been made available to PMParrot, Oba Adetunji stated that the contributions of Engr. Sanusi to the socio-economic development of Ibadanland is what informed him to confer on Engr. Sanusi the OtunApesinOla and his wife, Mrs. Bellema Joyce Sanusi, as Yeye OtunApesinola of Ibadanland.
Engr. Sanusi, an indigene of Ibadan who hails from Ikija Village in Oluyole Local Government, has his businesses namely- ICAST Schools, Ilaji Farms, Ilaji Stadium and Resorts Center, ICAST Advanced School- spread across Ido Local Government, Ona-Ara Local Government and Ibadan South-West Local Government.
Engr. Sanusi who is a Petroleum Engineering graduate from the University of Ibadan is also the Chief Executive Officer of TNL Drilling.
