It has been officially announced by the family left behind by the Late Moses Adejumo Baba Sala that the entertainment icon’s burial ceremony will hold on December 6 and 7.
His son, a Performing Officer at the National Troupe of Nigeria, Emmanuel Adejumo, popularly called “Boisala’’ informed that the family had decided on the date for the burial.
Baba Sala, a Member of the Order of the Niger, a comedian, dramatist and actor died on October 7 at 82 in Ilesa, Osun State.
His body has since been deposited at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex Annex, (Wesley Guild Hospital) in Ilesa.
PMParrot also gathered that all the state governments in the South West of Nigeria are being encouraged by the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN Commission) to come up with an elaborate plan towards giving the iconic entertainer the burial he deserves.
Our source within the Commission confirmed “Yes, we are already working on how all our states in the South West of Nigeria will play roles in the burial of Baba Sala. We are sure that Osun State, the deceased’s home state is not going to be left alone to contribute. We are also working on how to get the Federal Government to be involved through the Minister of Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.”
