Super Eagles striker, Ahmed Musa has dedicated his Nigeria footballer of the year award to his teammates and everyone who has supported his football dream.
The Al Nassar FC of Saudi Arabia forward beat Kenneth Omeruo and Rasheedat Ajibade to be named Nigeria footballer of the year at Nigerian Sports Award held at the Eko and Suites Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday evening.
Musa, who had two goals wrongly disallowed in the AFCON qualifying game against South Africa, took to his twitter handle @ahmedmusa718 to appreciate his supporters.
“To be awarded 🇳🇬 footballer of the year is a humbling honor. Thanks to my teammates who make me better and everyone who has supported me. This is for you 🇳🇬,🦅,” Musa twitted.
Musa will lead the Eagles out once against in international friendly match against the cranes of Uganda at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on Tuesday.
