Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr insists he work with the national team is only about 70 percent done.
Rohr was appointed technical adviser of the Nigeria team in August 2016 and since then has guided the country to the World Cup and also recently qualified them for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
In January of 2018 before the World Cup, the German signed a new two year deal that’ll see him stay on the job until 2020; which will make him one of the longest serving Eagles Head Coach.
However, Rohr believes despite the achievements under his guidance, the Eagles of his dreams is yet to materialize and admits there’s still some work to do.
‘I am at 70 percent with this team. We still have a lot of work to do, but I see that there is progress. ‘The players we have are bringing more quality, quickness and fighting spirit and enthusiasm.
‘We are still young and even if the players since the World Cup are not the same, we have new players with the same spirit.’
