One of Africa’s leading brewers, Nigerian Breweries Plc has jump started its annual ‘beer festival’ in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
The very popular entertainment event which has been running for several years was activated some days ago at the Trans Amusement Park, Samonda, opposite the University of Ibadan. It will close in the first week of 2019.
A source close to the consultant in charge of the activation, Mr Semiu Adenekan (DJ Semight) informed PMParrot that this year’s edition will be with a difference.
Enthused our source “We have featured Taye Currency and we hope to bring in more notable musicians. In addition, there is going to be the usual raffle-draw.
“I can also say here that the organizers have a surprise waiting for those who come regularly. This will be the high point of this year’s Beer Festival.
“In addition, our regular comedians including Taye Obama and others have been doing what they know how to do best. Anybody that fails to pay a visit to the Trans Amusement Park to be part of the Beer Festival will be missing a lot. We have a very spacious parking space, our beers are chilled, security is tight.”
