Youths in Ekiti State have hailed the restoration drive of the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi which has brought good tidings to the people of the state.

The position of the youths was contained in a recent statement signed by the Director of Youth Affairs for the Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign’s Council, Comrade Moses Ademiloye (JBS) and made available to PMParrot in Ado Ekiti.

The Director noted that in the past 100 days in Ekiti State, “Governor Kayode Fayemi has kicked off the work of rebuilding the foundation for a modern and improved State through the four pillars adopted for his administration which include Social Investment, Knowledge economy, Infrastructure and Industrial development as well as agriculture and rural development”.

Ademiloye further commended the engagement of youths by the State Governor in his cabinet.

“As youths who have also been clamouring for the opportunity to lead, Governor Kayode Fayemi has undoubtedly helped key into the young people’s idea of taking leadership positions by appointing young people into his cabinet even in his first 100 days in office thereby engaging many youths and equally giving them the chance to test the waters and giving their best to the State’s development and prepare them for the days ahead in leadership.

“Although, still relatively young, the Executive Governor has made campaigning for President Muhammadu Buhari and Professor Yemi Osinbajo easier through his commendable achievements including the tradermoni scheme which several petty traders have recently benefited from, the prompt payment of salaries and arrears, the school feeding programme set to commence next month amongst several others”.

“It is also notable that Governor Fayemi perfectly understands that government is a continuum and as a result has prepared a budget that would see to the completion of previously abandoned and uncompleted projects.”

Ademiloye and other youths in the State and those in the dispora also used the opportunity to reassure Dr. Kayode Fayemi of their total support in his drive to make Ekiti great again.
