2019 Polls: Monarchs In Ekiti Call For Peaceful Conduct

The Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers has called on all leaders of political parties, party supporters, Ekiti sons and daughters and other residents across the state to disallow anything that could disrupt continued peaceful co-existence among the people of the State before, during and after the national elections.

The Chairman, Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers, the Oloye of Oye, Oba (Sir) Oluwole Ademolaju Adugbole III (OON), who made the call in Ado – Ekiti, pleaded with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other security agencies to play the game according to the rules.

The Council, which implored all officials that would be involved in the election to be neutral and unbiased in discharging their duties urged the people to troop out in large number on Saturday to exercise their civic rights according to their conscience.
