The Osun state chapter of the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) has concluded plans to mobilize and register new members into its fold.
In a statement by its state Chairman, Mr. Wole Adedoyin in Ilesa recently, the party said that Hope Democratic Party has people-oriented manifestoes solely prepared for the liberation of Osun State citizens which is different from other political parties’ manifestoes in the state.
“HDP was registered on the 10th of November 2006, later de-registered by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in 2011 but was reinstated by a federal high court in 2015.
“HDP was brought to Osun State in 2015 after the 2015 general elections. It has however participated in various organized elections in the state. HDP party stands for transparency, equality, accountability, integrity, justice, peace, trust and truth.
The party has also been making huge impacts in terms of advising the government, criticizing and commenting on the activities of the government. Many of the Party’s releases were published on Osun State official government’s website during the political administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, a sign which means the immediate past government of Osun State recognized the presence of HDP in the State.
The party, however, urged interested Osun state citizens to register anytime the party commences its membership registration across the state.
