Ekiti State-born Senator Adedayo Adeyeye has been named by Senate President, Ahmad Lawan as chairman Senate ad-hoc committee on Media and Public Affairs.
Lawan said that the committee would function and inter face until a standing committee is constituted later.
Other members of the committee are Senators Aishatu Dahiru, Uba Sani, Abba Moro, Ifeanyi Ubah and Betty Okagua-Apiafi.
Before he defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Adeyeye who represents Ekiti South at the Senate was the spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
With the constitution of the Selection Committee, it is expected that chairmen and members of the standing committees of the upper chamber would soon announced.
