All is set for funky juju musician, Asiwaju Dele Taiwo to storm Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State as he is being expected to be on the bandstand at a show packaged by Oscar/Highflyer.
According to the promoters, the musical icon is expected to feature live on stage with his band at the show tagged ‘Owambe Vibes’ which holds at Club Derock located inside the Palms Shopping Mall, Ring Road in Ibadan.
In a chat with PMParrot, Dele Taiwo expressed happiness and optimism about the event which will hold this Wednesday by 8 pm.
“I am looking forwards to the show,” he enthused, adding “though, this is not my first time of appearing at a show in Ibadan, it is still a show I believe will endear me more to my teeming fans.
“It is also my belief that it will give me the opportunity of dishing out our new vibes to our fans and others. We will, by God’s grace give all those who attend something to remember for a very long time.”
Dele Taiwo came into prominence in the early 90s when he released a block-bursting album titled ‘Magic Moments’on the label of the now defunct Premier Music.
The funky juju exponent is expected to dish out the same ‘magic moments’ to those who attend in addition to some of his recent musical offerings.
Maximum enjoyment and security of those who attend has also been guaranteed by the promoters of the show.
