This is good news coming from Ondo State because a new traditional ruler for Owo kingdom on Friday emerged peacefully and he is Barrister Ogunoye Ajibade Gbadegesin.
Gbadegesin emerged as the new king after polling 14 out of the 15 votes cast by the kingmakers.
Gbadegesin will be succeeding the late monarch of the town, Oba Victor Olateru Olagbegi and will be the 32nd Olowo of Owo.
Speaking after his emergence, the new monarch said this would be the first time the selection of a monarch will be peaceful
Hr commended other contestants for their spirit of sportsmanship and promised to work with every stakeholders for the development of Owo Kingdom.
He assured the people of the kingdom that his reign would usher new development to the town.
