Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim believes the club have more firepower upfront following the arrival of Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Henry Onyekuru.
Onyekuru joined the principality club on a five-year contract from Premier League club, Everton earlier this week.
The Super Eagles forward comes with huge reputation following an impressive loan spell with Turkish champions Galatasaray last season where he scored 16 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions.
The 22-year-old has already started training with his teammates and is in line to make his debut in Saturday’s home clash against Metz.
Jardim who is happy with the versatile forward’s arrival at the club however admits he is yet to be 100% fit.
“Today we have more offensive solutions – Ben Yedder, Onyekuru, Balde. They have not all had the same preparation. There are still efforts to be made to be 100%,” Jardim told a news conference on Thursday.
