The General Officer Commanding, GOC, 2 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Anthony Bamidele Omozoje on Monday hosted the Chairperson, Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association, NAOWA, 2 Division Chapter, Mrs Stella Bose Omozoje and members of her entourage at the Headquarters 2 Division Nigerian Army, Adekunle Fajuyi Cantonment, Ojoo- Ibadan during a courtesy visit.
While welcoming the Chairperson of NAOWA to his office, the GOC described the association as an organisation that has tremendously benefited the Nigerian Army and the nation.
According to him, the organisation has added value to many lives through education, healthcare, skill acquisition and other civil/military cooperation activities, especially in host communities.
Omozoje further said that the Internally Displaced Persons in camps in the North East and in other parts of the nation have come to recognise NAOWA as an organisation that has put smiles on their faces.
The GOC described the organisation as a charity organisation that is adding value to lives in the country.
He, however, stressed his readiness to support the activities of the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association 2 Division Chapter.
