Veteran gospel musician, Joseph Adebayo Adelakun, popularly known as Ayewa has said that he is a fulfilled man as he attained the age of 70.
In a chat with PMParrot, the popular musician said he is full of praises and adoration for God, the Almighty who blessed him with sound health, long life and inspiration.
His words “I really do not know where to start thanking God from. My reason is that He singled me out to be blessed. Look at all the series of musical compositions that God gave me. He also blessed me with sound health.”
The retired soldier-turned-muscian also used the opportunity to thank President Muhammadu Buhari and his vibrant team for wishing him well on his birthday.
“I am also appreciative of my fans all over the world. I also thank my producers and all those who have in one way or the other contributed to the growth of my musical and spiritual life. I thank my family too.”
On Friday, in a special statement released through his spokesman, Femi Adesina, Buhari congratulated the musician for clocking the age of 70.
The vehicle of music, President Buhari noted, is one that commands the attention of millions of people, and the fact Evangelist Adelakun has used his natural endowment to serve God can only be handsomely rewarded here, and in the hereafter.
The President wished Ayewa longer life, greater grace, and more rewarding service, as he serves the God he loves so much.
