Nigeria’s Super Falcons remain static in the latest FIFA Ranking for Women’s national teams released on September 27.
Nigeria hold on to the top spot in Africa and also maintain its position as the Continent’s highest ranked team (36).
In July, the previous ranking showed Nigeria climbed two spots in the world, but remain stationery in September with Cameroon, Ghana, South Africa and Ivory Coast completing the top five.
Later this month Nigeria will battle Ivory Coast in a third round 2020 CAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament qualifier.
Ivory Coast will host the first-leg on 30th September and second-leg comes up four days later at the Agege Stadium, Lagos.
The next Women’s World Ranking will be published on 13 December 2019.
