Yes, in Lagos and definitely in other highly cosmopolitan cities of the world, there are special facilities provided for the super rich to bury their dead.

Our visit to the highly esoteric Vaults & Gardens in Ikoyi, Lagos was revealing. We were emphatically told that at this location, those buried there are now in Heaven, enjoying all the perks there!
A source who works there gushed “there is no way you will be buried here and you will go to Hell. You can see our environment, it is an indication that we have prepared Heaven for those buried here right from here on Earth!”.
We were told that single or double vault layout of four feet by nine feet goes for nothing less than four million naira with VAT and other charges.
“Those in the single vault have only rented what you call a single room out there. We have a single room self contained, we have room and palour self contained, we have two bedroom flat, we have three bedroom, we have duplex too (special low density vaults).
“Cost of acquiring the duplex is around N250 million. It is not for just anybody. There, generations can be buried with quite ample space still available. Some can even sublet. All you need to do is pay us our charges here.”
Parrot Xtra/PMParrot was shown the ‘duplexes’ rented by the likes of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, General Theophilus Danjuma, the family of Molade Okoya, Mr Babatunde Raji Fasola and several others.
