International Community of Civil Society Organisations have joined other well-meaning Nigerians to mourn the demise of Mrs Abosede Ransome-Kuti, the widow of Dr Beko Ransome-Kuti.
In a statement on Thursday morning, the coalition described the deceased as a real mother and pillar of support for all progressive minded Nigerians.
Mrs Abosede Ransome-Kuti, aged 74, died on 3 December, 2019.
The statement signed by Comrade Awa Bamiji confirmed that the coalition will be ready to play important roles in her burial.
Her remains have since been deposited in the mortuary and burial arrangements will be announced by the family later.
